COVID-19 POLICIES

APPOINTMENT & SERVICES POLICY
 

Guest Agreement:
We ask that all guests who have been exposed to or have felt symptoms of COVID-19 reschedule their appointment with as much notice as possible. If you have traveled to any states included in Mayor Lightfoot's travel ban, we ask that you quarantine for 14 days before your appointment regardless of receiving a negative COVID test upon arrival. All guests will be asked to sign a waiver prior to receiving services that agrees to the following terms: 

  • I have not shown any COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days.

  • I have not been around/interacted with anyone who has symptoms of or tested  positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days

  • I have not traveled to any of the states included in Mayor Lightfoot’s travel ban within the last 14 days.

  • I will abide by all salon sanitation policies, including temperature check upon arrival, proper face covering of nose and mouth always, and frequent hand sanitizing and washing.

  • I understand any Threading Point Salon staff member has the right to ask me to leave the building for not complying with the terms above.
     

Appointment Confirmation:

We require guest confirmation 24 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to confirm may result in loss of appointment and a 50% charge for your total services cost. Please understand we have many guests waiting to get in.

Cancellations:

Since safety is our top priority, we will not enforce our policy for any last-minute cancellations if you are sick. You should also cancel your appointment if you are experiencing the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath / difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, loss of taste / smell. However, please contact us immediately so we can adjust our schedules accordingly.


Threading Point Salon requires a credit card to reserve your appointment. We understand busy schedules and different circumstances can not be avoided so we are happy to cancel your appointment with reasonable notice. All same-day appointment alterations will inquire a fee of 50% of the scheduled services. Missed appointments with no notice given are subject to charge in the full amount. Please let us know no later than the day before if you need to make any adjustments to your appointments.
 

PROTOCOLS FOR YOUR SERVICES / SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

  • Only guests with confirmed appointments will be allowed in the building. If you do not have an appointment and wish to purchase retail/gift certificate please call/email and we will arrange a curbside pickup.

  • Masks are mandatory! All guests must wear their mask at all times inside the building.  Please make sure your mask goes around the ears. Additionally, Threading Point Salon employees will wear masks at all times.

  • Please limit the number of belongings you bring to your appointment.

  • Guests must wash and/or sanitize their hands prior to their service.

  • Guests will be asked to have their temperature taken prior to their service.

  • Social distancing guidelines will be honored as much as possible. 

  • All tools, stations and equipment will be sanitized/disinfected between each client. Staff will follow proper hand washing protocols between each client. 

  • Credit cards will be held for payment in your client profile to minimize contact during checkout. Gratuity can be added to the transaction. 

  • We will temporarily suspend all magazine services until further notice.
